Medical Diagnostic Services was founded in 1988 by Owner and President, Stanley G. Tufts, Jr., Ph.D. |
The company was established to meet a growing need for objective and accurate, third-party medical analysis. Dr. Tufts recognized this need through more than 20 years of Medical Administration and Claims Management. As one of the pioneers in the development of the multiple doctor examination process in Washington State, Dr. Tufts created the standard questions used in most of the examinations conducted these days. |

Dr. Tufts was also a key player in the development of the light duty and gradual return to work programs used in claims management. |
As the medical director of Medical Diagnostic Services, Dr. Michael Olejar, M.D., M.S., is very involved in the development and evaluation of forensic medical studies. |

Dr. Olejar is committed to the highest standards of quality, objectivity and accuracy and ensures that these founding principles of MDS are strictly adhered to. Dr. Olejar is a board-certified, Internal Medicine Specialist, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering, as well as a Masters of Science in Physiology. In addition to his role as Medical Director of MDS, Dr. |
| Olejar is an active practicing physician with additional expertise in Rheumatology and Oncology. |
The daily operations are managed by Kirby R. Storbeck, Vice President and General Manager of Medical Diagnostic Services. Mr. Storbeck has been employed full time by MDS for the past eight years, and has a total of fifteen years experience in the Independent Medical Examinations field. He has been |

| involved in many projects and associated with the business operations of our president for more than fifteen years. Mr. Storbeck has a college education in astronomy and physics from the University of Washington and a trade school degree in computer programming from Clover Park Technical Institute. Mr. Storbeck is responsible for maintaining the administrative excellence for which MDS has become well known and respected. |

Client Services and Physician Recruiting is handled by Joe Tedford, Account Executive and Sales Manager for Medical Diagnostic Services. |

Mr. Tedford has an extensive background in sales with many different organizations including J.C. Penney Company and Nordstrom Inc. He also sold real estate for Sherwood and Roberts. Mr. Tedford holds B. A. in Zoology, Masters Degree in Radiological Science, and a Washington State Teacher's Certificate. A high school science teacher for the past 20 years, Mr. Tedford is well versed in the areas of presentations and client services. |
